Have you rang around the scrap yards as boy racers like corsas and there's plenty of them in scrap yards as a result.May be better walking around the scrap yards in altham as boy racers chop and change parts so you can end up with newer model parts on an older car for example and the rear end of the car is usually ok so you should get a good un.

is there something special about your models parcel shelf as they are usually standard across the range as its only a parcel ?

Didn't realise they were standard, so thanks for that. I shall go round the scrap yards as you suggest, many thanks.Just a puzzle how I come to lose my shelf in the first place.

when I removed it to fill my boot to go to a pop concert , I thought I had put it behind settee in living room, when I returned , no shelf, I have searched high and low,although I did work out of town at the time ,I have retraced my steps and no shelf,been gone about two yrs , so do not think it will turn up now.

one time i had to use a hire car after someone crashed into mine and i took the parcel shelf out of the car so i could get my sons pram into the boot and left it in a carpark in manchester leaning against another car.I frantically rang around all the scrap yards and got one for £15 just before they delivered my car back to me and took the hire car back lol
