I will give you £40 without seeing the condition! How's that! Then I will put them into the Accrington Museum, hoping that one day they will go on show!

They are not worth that much, they are just lumps of wood, the Haworth already has some, which came from the Oak Hill Museum.

they are quite big and heavy and would cost a lot to post so don't know what to do really as I am in Derbyshire. I offered them to Haworth Art Gallery but have had no reply

Do you perhaps live anywhere near Tideswell? If the Haworth accepts them, I would meet you halfway and take them in for you.

Atarah, with the Civic Trust, is working hard to ensure that Accrington has some sort of museum again, to display and keep safe the town's heritage.

If the lift idea doesn't come off, and the blocks are kindly donated to the Civic Trust, with the condition they will some day (hopefully) soon, be on display to the public, I will gladly pay half the postage costs with Atarah.
