Still Looking for 28 or 26 inch flat screen TV working or not to be used on stage as a prop. early November.The show is the Madness musical "Our House" performed by The Accrington Theatre Group at the Civic Theatre.

They may have some at the tip - or you could ask on Realcycle (Freecycle) for a broken one.

Thanks for that Margaret but the tip will not release anything,because if it goes wrong they get sued,and it has happened.I was told by the foreman that a woman got one of those large hairdriers on a stand which went faulty and caused hair loss and burning,so she sued and got £30,000.

Iv'e just bought a new tele,so you can gladly take away my old one if you like. It's a 26"" Hitachi on a stand, and it has 4 surround speakers, and is fully working.
The only problem is that it's not a flat screen, it's the old type. anyway its here if you want it, if not it's freecycle or to the tip

Thanks Angleiron but I have located one that I am looking for and hope to collect it on Saturday,but even so yours would be too heavy as it has to be carried round the stage by a young lady.Thanks to all who showed concern.

Why don't you just get a piece of 'owd plyboard, paint it black, stick a few white knobs on the bottom and hang it on the wall? Most of this lot on here would not be able to tell the difference whether it's on or off, so I assume your audience will be the same.
