Old type Nokia phone
 

My neighbour's phone has just "died on her". Its the old type Nokia - the type where folk say "Gosh, I used to have one of those, yonks ago!"

She feels confident in using this older type of phone and dreads the thought of having to learn a more modern one.

Anyway out there got one of this older type of mobile phone which they would be willing to sell (its so old, we cant even see the model no on the phone :))

Do you know what model of Nokia Atarah?

I have an old nokia 3210i and it beats all comers for battery life(OK so it doesn't have a camera on it - I use a proper camera when I want to take pics - my phone is purely for phoning and an occasional text)...if it is one of these types, they do sell them on the market...and they aren't that expensive...most folk want smartphones that do everything(including the washing, ironing and the hoovering up).

Well. With a lot of those old nokia phones, they had (more or less) the same operating system so having a newer one from around that time shouldn't be that much of a learning experience.

Yes Margaret. I would say the 3510i would be an upgrade for atarah's neighbour without being lost in how to use it. I had one of those. Quite a nice phone it was.

I took a nokia 3510i to the hospice shop in Accy last week. I don't know if they have sold it yet.

I think I still have a Nokia 3210 somewhere at home, if I can find it your neighbour would be welcome to it. I'll have a look when I get home from work & let you know
