I have a brand new wheelchair free to anyone who will collect. It was given to my mother from the social services and she has never used it or will use it. The social do not want it back .Please pm me if you want it.

does it have large wheels or small ones?
My Ma could do with a new wheelchair...but it would have to have small wheels(not the big ones that you can self propel)

Why not drive to Royal Blackburn, park out side like the taxis do,
push the weel chair inside the front entrance and leave it. It would soon get adopted by the hospital.
Never mind the Social don't want it the hospitals do.

Yes. If I have to take Ma to hospital it is easier to take her own chair as you can never find one free.......so I am sure they would adopt it....and if anyone were to stop you Frank, just tell them you are returning it after use - you would not be fibbing.

Many thanks for the chair which was collected from your mother's house slightly late as I went to the address in Clayton le Moors...I asked a police woman for the way to the same road name in Accrington but she could not find it so I took pot luck and found it quite easy...please pass on our grateful thanks to your mum...Laurie
