Pool/snooker table wanted
 

Im looking for a large preferbly over 6ft pool or snooker table

I was just posting to see if anybody knows where i can pick one up or if there is one for sale

Can I suggest to you Steven that you state whether you want a slate bed or wood. If you are serious about the game, you should only buy a slate bed which can be set up to the standard of pubs and clubs but a wood base is for "fun" only.

Another thing to consider is whether the table is going to be left in one position or moved out of the way. Slate beds (even 6ft. are HEAVY!!) and require many minutes to "level out." before playing ...and are far more expensive!:o

If you want a slate bed, I suggest that you make enquiries with a publican with regard to suppliers to the pub trade (Staggerman:D perhaps?) You may be able to pick up a used table at a reasonable cost, remember that a "re-cloth" will set you back a minimum of £120-00 but is well worth it if you enjoy the game :o

no it would be a wood bed and it wouldnt be moved but does anyone know wher i can get one chep preferably over 6ft

How much are you willing to pay upto, have a browse in Argos.

I would suggest you look at toys r us you can get a 6ft table for less than £100.
I would suggest buying online unless you have the right vehicle to get it home coz delivery charges are £10 for the first 5 mile then £1 a mile after that.

No im after one over 6ft as i think a six foot table will be to small
