just call into 1 of the charity shops in town, tell them what you have got and they will send someone round to collect it

Don't want to be a wet blanket Pixie, but I know so many mums who have done that and then found themselves pregnant again. The Cancer Charities will pick up if you contact them as will Help the Aged and the British Heart Foundation.

I know, but I can't be doing with people coming round to the house and umming and aahing over stuff - I just want to be shut of it. Unless of course, anyone will come round and take a job lot of baby clothes (boys 6-12m), a graco pram and moses basket with stand.:)

One is quite enough, I didn't enjoy pregnancy at all and have no desire to do it again.:D

I find it rather funny that people look at me as if I have two heads when I say I don't want anymore. :D

Couldn't agree more pixie, I would want any more either and I don't have to go through all that pain and discomfort. Tell me how do they look at you as if you have two heads......?

Isn't it funny how we can be so different? I have a friend who has a very large family (some aquired by marriage I must admit). I've got two which is plenty for me. I didn't want only one because I was an only child and always wanted a brother or sister when I was younger. Even now I think I'd like to have had siblings so that my children had cousins.

LOL...they look at me like I am a freak, and always make some comment on how he will be an only child, or how I will want more later. I even asked my GP about sterilisation, but apparently I am too young at 25 to be considered.

Yes, Willow it IS weird. I cannot understand women who have more than two kids at the most, anymore than that and they must be a real sucker for punishment! I have one sibling and that seems about right. It just seems "messy" to have all those kids knocking about.:D

I was the eldest girl in a family with 7 kids......I hated it......always wanted to be an only child. There was no mystery in babies, we seemed to have one at our house every year. By the time I got married I had had enough baby minding to last me a lifetime......and I think if it had been up to me I would not have had any......but hubby was the youngest of 3 and he wanted a brood.

Definately agree anymore than 2 is too many, I have friends who have 4+kids and it makes me wonder if they know what causes them, they always seem to be screaming, shouting and complaining. 2 was definately enough for me.

I never wanted kids, but I was kind of forced into the first one by my missus. I was more ready for number 2, and am actually considering having more!

My wife keeps saying that we need to make a decision soon, as she does not want to be too much older if we do decide to have more

It's all gone I'm afraid, but if you do have a boy, I will be more than happy to save the next lot of stuff he grows out of.:)
