I have a dell dimension pentium 2, 10gb hard drive, 2 usb ports, 256mb ram, floppy, cd-rom, keyboard, mouse, windows xp professional installed with microsoft office 2003 (Word, Excel, Publisher etc etc) There is no monitor with this pc. £55 ovno

Licenses won't be included(No updates from Microsoft then), plus its old. Forget playing games released in the last 3 years. Office/Internet it will be fine, anything more taxing will show its lack of power.

Sara, what sort of money do you want to spend? Also what spec is your current PC. It may be be economical to just upgrade parts of what you already have. PCs are modular, you can upgrade bits as and when required. If you want to take this to PM I'm more than happy to point you at what you need etc.( I don't sell any of this stuff so you can be sure of an unbiased view).

Thanks entwisi, get back to you after the weekend. Because to be truthful i come on press the buttons and hey presto it works. I just use it for the net and word. It's mainly for the kids and the eldest is away till weekend. So haven't got a clue about spec etc.
