Well, Stanley are playing Hereford on St. Georges Day so we'll be doing our bit by slaying (oh sorry - playing) the Welsh!!

Same as Accymad - off to Hereford to celebrate our first season as a full-time club again...and of course, our patron saint's day!

Think we might have that other good old english meal......Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pud and some lovely fresh veggies. mmmmmm.......I can almost taste it now........or even steak and kidney pie. I'm making myself hungry here.

Re: Make St'George's Day a Bank holiday!
I have yet to find anyone locally selling flags. I have a big one left over from the world cup which my lad is going to fly from is bedroom window. On the day itself I will be in Yorkshire doing the Three Peaks hopefully. If the weather is bad I may get over for the stag.
