Postal vote - different names!

We got a leaflet from the Lib Dems through the door this morning, to add to our growing collection - we've had a Tory one as well. The UKIP one is in the car, as our 2 year old daughter knows that Mummy likes purple, and I think the Labour one is on standby as said daughter has us nearly out of toilet paper...

Anyway, we also got our voting papers delivered as well, and I am confused. None of the names on the voting slip bear any resemblance to any of the names I have seen so far.

So does this mean that more voting papers are on the way, or have I been put in a parallel universe?:o

That's strange this morning l got voting papers addressed to-

Mr. V. Orlon,
24 The Old Burrow,
Royal Tonbridge Wells,
Kent

and none of the names equate with the names on the leaflets l'm currently making a papier mache bust of Sophia Loren with! ?

Aah, but if you fold it up you can wedge the larger bits out first, then use something like kitchen roll for the rest! ;)

That might be interesting, if you haven't any drying paint to watch; How many inventive alternative uses can you find for election leaflets?

I might even go so far as to offer a cluster of oakleaves for the best suggestion.

Election leaflets are very good to put on the bottom of your budgie's cage.

Why isn't the Green Party leaflet that we got two of this morning biodegradable?

Just wondering .....

Just put them all in your recycling bag, that is all they are good for as they all change their policies once the election is over.

Most people receive an horrendous amount of junk mail in the course of a week or so. Some of this rubbish comes with pre-paid envelopes so that you can apply for their credit card/insurance/miracle baldness cure etc.

Put your unwanted election leaflets into the aforementioned envelopes and send the annoying twaddle to the beggars who spend the best part of our lives bugging us with junk mail.:D

My dad got 2 lots of junk mail once, and decided to have some fun.

He utilised the pre-paid envelopes that came with them, and sent the stuff to the other companies!

Re: Postal vote - different names!

I do that all the time, or I use the pre paid envelopes for my own personal use, just stick a white label over the pre-printed address and write in the address you need to send stuff to. It saves me a fortune in stamps..:D
