The Mummy Manual

Heard about this on the radio a couple of days ago and just thought it was a beautiful thing to do

http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/pages/...n_page_id=1770

This should take you to the story behind the Mummy Manual (might need to copy and paste)

http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/pages/...70&in_a_source=

This one will take you to a copy of the mummy manual

It really is moving, being a mother I know how important all the things listed are.

Haven't checked your links, Fibi, but I did see the original article in the MOS, & at 10am on a Sunday, I was in tears, so, if you don't mind, I'll read them later.

Re: The Mummy Manual

Hi Fibi,

My husband brought this story home a few days ago. Probably like most mothers who read it, I was in tears by the end of the article.

Having a close friend with MS and having needed support myself before when we lost one of our children, I wanted to see something positive come out of this story.
My husband is a web developer, so I have made him set up a site so mothers can contribute their own manuals. Hopefully this will be of help to anyone who is having to raise their family after losing their partner and raise a lot of money for charity.

A literary agent has already contacted me to turn the site into a book so hopefully we will seem some good news out of Helen's bravery.

The site has only just gone live and I am in the middle of writing my own manual but it is so hard to finish it without just wanting to cry. I really need mothers to help me by joining and contributing their own manuals.

The site is at www.mummymanual.com, please help if you can.

Thanks!
Amanda
