well to prove a point a college lecturer once told my friend that one day people would download music and read newspapers on the internet and the whole classroom laughed at him

things sound far fetched at times but look whats happened

What happened to the original topic? Oh yes the council conning the tennants of the new block of shops. Last I heard on that one is that they are going to resist and fight the demand for extra cash and if they lose then most of them reckon it will put them out of business to have to come up with that much extra. Yet more empty shops afoot? Nice one HBC.

maybe a higher class of cheap shop will be introduced into these newly emptied shops

anyone want to go into partnership with me we can open up a shop called FIVERLAND where everything is a fiver and corner the more upperclass market looking for a bargain

simply buy poundlands stock and mark it up at £5 and those too stuck up to use poundland will feel less ashamed as they have paid more for their stuff
