i just read on A.O.L. that richard whiteley is in intensive care with pneumonia..countdown is one of my favourite programmes ,,i hope he soon gets well and i wish him all the best ..

Oh I hope he gets better soon too, I don't watch much TV......but I do watch Countdown.

YORKSHIRE-born television personality Richard Whiteley is being treated in
hospital after suffering a bout of pneumonia.
The 61-year-old broadcaster was admitted yesterday to Bradford Royal Infirmary, where last night his condition was described as stable.
Whiteley, the presenter of long-running Channel 4 quiz show Countdown, was
born and brought up in Bradford and now has homes in Ilkley and Wensleydale.
