not supersticious about anything EXEPT friday 13th which goes back many years,and is not up for topic,but i admit to being very wary whenever it comes around.

So much has gone wrong, I expect Friday 13th to be the day when everything is finally sorted...........and everyting comes together...

My partner and I were disappointed that it falls THIS year - had it been next year we would have (well I would have) wanted to get married then because I know that my family is super superstitious and would have been panicking. I would have found it quite funny.
This time its unlucky for me - today I get to work with a member of staff that we have all classified as a grade "A" nutcase. The joy!

I always count magpies, prefering to see 5 or 6, than just one. I say 'God's speed' when I drop important post into the post box and I put a coin in any purse, wallet or bag that I'm giving to someone as a present.

I don't bother about Friday 13th, ladders or salt though.

I find it funny how we learn these things. Most of us usually inherit superstisions from our parents and family. I guess its a case of copying what you see until it becomes a sort of 'ritual' that u find yourself doing.

Last time it was Friday the 13th in August 2004. I was rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack.
This time I'm drinking a cup of tea whilst on the Accy web.
Now in recovered and feeling great.
