This is the person who used to go to college in old mans pyjamas, no socks, espadrilles and a coat l'd made covered in photos of myself and then spashed with blood red gloss paint with the words 'Je ne suis pas un elephant' on the back. Beat that.

Still, thinks it matters not a jot what people look like to do a good job. lf she'd have had Tranny and Susanah in to do a makeover you'd have been the first to scream. :)

If you care to read my initial post you will find that I have already admitted that.

As for T & S, I am sure that even they would throw up their expensively manicured hands in despair and run screaming from the borough. Still, if the good folk of Hyndburn are happy with an overweight, fashion atrocity as the public face of the borough for the next twelve months, then I wish them joy of her.

Yes, but Hitler had hair worse than the Mayor's. I'm never sure whether the QM just had terrible taste in clothes, or didn't want to waste her gin money on frocks.

I suppose we should be grateful the Mayor doesn't have a moustache - or is there something I'm missing.
