http://Men no longer have an excuse ...retful infant.Researchers for Fathers Direct, a UK fatherhood charity, said men in the region often step in to perform the task when women are not available. It found that Aka fathers hold their baby close to their bodies for several hours at a time and are at their child's side around 47% of the time - even taking their infant along on palm wine drinking sessions. Caroline Flint, former President of the Royal College of Midwives, said: "I have come across cases of dads doing this. "It's not a case of the man saying to the baby, 'Here you are, have my booby', but usually of the baby snuffling along the fathers chest, finding the nipple and sucking. "The men are usually very surprised, but the babies seem content. They love to snuggle up to their dads."

The Aka tribe's dedication to childcare is greater even than Swedish men, named as the top Western dads - who handle 45% of parenting. In British families, men carry out an average of a third of childcare, ranking fourth in Western countries, the study found.:surprise: :eek:

Hehehehe. I have known men to have skin contact with their newborns when the mother is unable to (either due to illness or general anaesthesia). We do offer men the opportunity to have skin contact at birth with their babies at Blackburn when the mother is unable to. Most new babies love to snuggle up to their dad.:D

heard it all now! are you trying to entice us blokes into getting arrested .....because some nosy do-gooder looks through your window and sees a baby suckling on a fellas pap. sorry girls it just wouldnt happen in this country without being given the title of peado! used to love given my kids baths and taking FUN PHOTOS you couldnt even take them in to be developed these days!

Yes, I agree most of us men are breast sucklers, however most of you women always seem to say NOT NOW!

here we go this is from the heart ! I would love to get hold of a young one abought 2-3 year old OF MY OWN and cuddle them to bits they are so innocent and you think to yourself what have i brought them into?All them delinquent youngsters out there today have only 1/2 people to blame and that is the parents yes you can read that as one of two or half of one,anyway back to the thread , how can you not cuddle something like that.YES THAT. because that is what we produced and we should be proud of THAT! life is to short to mess around in,enjoy while you can ............................
