Blackpool Recommendations please

I need a child friendly hotel, close ish to the Pleasure Beach, decent bar/entertainment in the evening and will let customers keep their bikes overnight. Must be reasonablely priced.
Thanks in advance.:)

Thanks grannyclaret, but do they do overnight stays? I'm only after staying for one night.

Pontins would be a good choice. I don't really know of anyone who could give a recommendation. You could try some of the many web sites on Blackpool Hotels? Some of them have feedback forums and the like. Best of luck ……………

I've stayed at the Viking Hotel, its next block up from the Pleasure Beach, had great evening entertainment and was child friendly, its a while ago though not sure what the prices are like, but its worth a call.

someone has already given you the best advice! all i can say is why blackpool , whats with the bikes? are they motorised or peddle powered?you will get more fun riding through the trough of bowland , than getting accosted on the street corners of blackpool . Spare change sir/do you smoke, forget it.

used to live in blackpool, also delivered bread etc to many hotel kitchens, all i can advise is come home-the kichens at most were a disgrace.

As someone who still delivers to Hotel kitchens in Blackpool I would second that. Quite a lot of the kitchens of the smaller hotels are in a bit of a state. However The Ruskin Hotel on Albert Road is clean and professionally run as is the Melville Hotel which is close by.

Stay away from the Palm Beach Hotel and the Balmoral Hotel!

We are currently negotiating to supply the group who run the Claremont, Cliffs and Viking Hotels. I haven't seen the kitchens there yet but, if it would help, I could post a report when I do. At least they have someone who is responsible for Quality Control which is more than most do.
