Where I am

Well, I know where I am.....but what about everybody else? A long time ago, there was a little map on here pinpointing peoples' locations. That went some time ago. I think though, it could be an interesting statistical exercise just to break down where people are (usually) located. Although this is the Accy web, I would guess that it is only a minority who currently reside in "Accy Proper"...lets see how it goes. Just vote your location.

The map is Here, thanks to K.S.H.

I remember the member map, it was a good feature. I'll look into that again methinks. Good poll tea :)

Re: Where I am

Hmm, Is Huncoat a seperate 'township'? If so what about Baxenden?

I always thought that Hyndburn was Accy, ossy, Gt Harwood, Rishton Altham and Church. No mention of huncoat/bash so I thought they came bundled as Accy.

PS, Nice to meet you last night, some nice pubs there. Looking forward to the Thames crawl now.

I know where I am, and it is also visible to everyone else.

I'll be in Eastbourne this evening though

Re: Where I am

I would guess that anywhere that has its own name and its own historic identity...so apart from the obvious - Church, Ossy, Rishton, etc, I would say that some of the smaller hamlets, such as Altham,Green Haworth or Tottleworth would be distinct from Accy. I know that Green Haworth was iwithin the pre 1974 borders of Accy, but that only existed from the 1880's. I suppose its where you feel you are.

Re: Where I am

I loved the member map, it was great to see how many Accy Webbers lived in various places around the globe and who you could potentially meet up with if you were travelling (although I missed Sparky, Roy and Wingy by a couple of days in Hong Kong.) :D
