shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Why are people so thoughtless, Why do they own dogs, Why do they let them ---- on my lawn, Why do I have to put up with this sh-te. I love dogs but don't live the type of life which could accomodate one. Why do people who work all day have dogs, to let them out for a sh-te every morning, then shut them in the house all day and then out again desperate for a sh-te at night. that is cruelty and itis also cruel to expect that neighbours who look after the garden etc should have to clean the SH-TE up after them. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Someone who lives near me (I don't know who it is) lets their dog poo on my drive quite regularly. I don't mind cleaning up after my own dog, and never go out without Doggy-doo bags now she's old and officially senile, but I do flaming-well object to cleaning up after other people's. If I ever find out whose dog it is I will post it through their letter-box. They must know it's doing it as we don't get unaccompanied dogs on our road.

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I feel the same way I know who it is and have contacted the dog warden, but yes I will post it back if necessary

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Pilky that question smacks of a really sad life!!! lol ;)
I would also love to have a dog but with my working hours I couldn't imagine leaving it at home all day. I do have friends who do however as they have trained them and they say the dog sleeps most of the day anyway. Maybe its just me being a big softy, yeah thats me big softy :o |
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Don't just blame dog owners.
Ain't you had to pick up people's cat scrat from the middle of your lawn? Yuk.:( |
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I was driving the Accrington Transport No4 Merlin Drive Route a couple of months ago and I was passing the Globe Centre and happened to see a Shan Mite in progress in full view.On my return I happened to see it was diarrhoea so I suppose you can't blame him.If it's gonna come it's gonna come.

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Cats are a pain too but the mower seems to cope better as, being smaller it dries quicker and the blades and suction of the mower seem to disipate the problem. However with Shog dite a large wet mass hitting the blades makes rather a mess on your feet and all areas within a circumferance of approx 4 mteres. AND IT STINKS BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as white SHOG DITE is concerned ie (bleached and dried in the sun for several days undisturbed) I don't thing this, once common phenomenon is now seen because shogs don't usually roam as they used too and most people do clean up after them. Now as for white Shog Dite and the mower, Well I would thing it would be sort of like hitting a bag of flour. This would leave a white airborn cloud for us to breathe. YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I think I've already mentioned it in another thread before, but what happened to pure white dog poop?
When I was a child it was really popular and you'd see it everywhere, and in those long summer school holidays, made an excellent chalk substitute for a budding pavement artist. |
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Being a dog owner who does clean up after the pooch, I hate to see shog dite. There's a girl round here who lets her dog poop wherever it wants and never cleans it up. I once chucked a bucket of water and bleach over an offending turd outside my house. I made sure that the lass and her dog were walking by at the time and I literally bleached her feet....:D
I think the reason that we no longer see white shog dite is because canine diets are different now. Not only do we humans follow the latest diet trends but we impose the behaviour onto our pets. When I was little our neighbours dog ate scraps from the table and old bones from the butcher, nowadays dogs eat dog food. I believe that the difference in diet would be a major contributor to the demise of white shog dite. Not that it was any prettier than the brown variety......:D |
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I have to disagree strongly Lettie with your comments I think white shog dite was much prettier than the run of the mill brown stuff and it has the added advantage of being fragrance free................And as Garrinda says it is a good substitute for chalk drawing ont flags. iNT IT.

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I have two cats and a dog and I would never dream of letting my animals foul other folks gardens........I am never without a plastic bag in my pocket.......and the cats are litter trained. Thought the cats do go out and stay out quite a bit during the nice weather they always seem to come back home to do a poo.
|
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I too have two cats that are that well litter trained, they cry to come in to use the tray. !!
|
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
No offence to any dog or cat owners, if you can own a cat, but cat poop is still awful.
Very often the little dears hide it under the soil, and if you are weeding you pull up more than a handful of roots.:( |
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Well, Garinda you can be safe in the knowledge that it won't be either of my cats who leaves you a pile to pull up with the daisies.......and yes cat poo is very pungent!

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I hate poo on the garden regardless of the bottom its come from, at the moment we get a regular poo (small one ) on the front garden. I haven't managed to catch the offender but its one of two, its either a small dog across the drive or a cat that just lives on the corner, I'm sick of cleaning it up, I have said that when I find out for definate it will find its way back into the owners garden:D

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
on a similar line...the thing that bugs me is theres a woman comes in the shop where i work and shes got a really old mangy looking dog..she walks it round the streets with the lead wrapped round her shoulders...instead of on the dog, leaving said dog to walk wherever it wants...which includes into my shop!!!!!!!!! and onto the road in front of oncoming traffic!!! ok rant over...lol

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
HAVE HUMANS NOT CAUSED MORE DOG, CAT,OR ANIMAL ****E, THAN ALL THESE THINGS BEFORE US HAVE DONE!The animals where here before you made a nice little fence, they where here before lawn mowers where invented!they where here before laws came out! These are animals the ones WE have to domesticate. they know where they dont ****e, they havent got a porcelin pot to sit on, but we treat them as part of a family, If i was taken short, i would ****e where i was,Would you you not?
ITS A DOGS LIFE INNIT? P.S DID YOU ALL NOT LEAVE THE ****E WHERE IT WAS WHEN YOU WHERE YOUNGER WALKING THE DOG? |
Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
when I was younger, alot younger, our dog was taught to pull off the pavement to the edge of the road to do it. So any of you who stepped out of your car right in it, don't blame me :p

Re: shog dite!!!!!!!!!!!!1
