I'm not talking about the day to day rubbish that you get in newspapers that's really general. I'm talking about the character descriptions that they reckon we all have depending on when we were born.

So, I found a website and I've copied all the key points for each birth sign (in alphabetical order not in year order). Do you fit the description for your sign?

Just thought of a funny moment reading the stars in depth at early hours of the morning last year sometime & then a power cut happened right in the middle of reading - never saw that coming!! Just thought meter had gone - the whole town was out LOL

I'll stick up for you Tinks - I'm one too. Only problem I had with the description is the 'easily led' that is definitely not me. I'm more likely to go the opposite way if someone tries to lead me around.

Neil, my dad was a capricorn and he didn't believe in anything like horoscopes.....mumbo-jumbo he called it.....he didn't believe in hypnosis either......called it a load of old twaddle.
One day my mum thought she would teach him a lesson......she hynotised him......got him to go and draw a washing up bowl of hot water while he was in a hynotised state.......got him to take off his shoes and socks and put his feet in the hot water......then she brought him round from his hypnotised state.........he was a bit more cautious about what he called twaddle after that. It was Sooooooo funny!

Although I believe horoscope predictions are rubbish I have always believed there is something in the birth sign theory. Each member of my family shows the distinctive characteristics of their birth sign including me, a Capricorn. When you think about it, is it any more fantastic that the planets should influence your personality than that the moon affects the tides? And the very none-PC term lunatic was coined because some people's mental problems had been observed to increase and decrease with the moon's cycle.

I cant make a choice to save my life.
If in doubt do nowt thats my motto.
It will take me weeks to choose a birthday card.

Yeah, see that's where I don't fit the Libran bill either. I'm pretty good at decisions but I think it's a skill that I had to learn because I remember being indecisive at one point.

I used to say that I could make a snap decision in a couple of days.

One Libran trait that isn't on the list is that most Librans are the opposite of everything that they are. Think of a trait which you are mostly and chances are you'll also be the exact opposite of it too.

Also, Librans are the only inanimate star sign - think that means that we don't need to get too close to other people.

I have a question for the person who voted 'I fit the description of a different sign'. Is the sign that you 'fit' either side of the one you should be and were you premature or overdue?

I remember reading that the birth sign shouldn't really be indicative of when you were born but when you were conceived. So are you the correct sign from when you were conceived?

Since it was thought Jesus was most likely born born between the 10th and 15th of December, but we celebrate his birthday later on the 25th to fit in with older, mid winter pagan festivals. that makes him an 'official' Capricorn,:)

well I'm a scorpio and fit most of the traits except I must be the most unjealous and unresentful person on this planet!!!! When you read most of the others I think you can pick things that would match yourself. But in all I do think there is a certain element of truth re: star sign but don't believe in this daily ones, I think they are a load of tosh. But if you were to have a birth chart done I think that could be more true to you

I filled in one of those free readings from astrology.com & the readings i got back were astonishingly true!!!! i do maintain some scepticism ah well one characteristic of my sign anyway pmsl. It does help if you know your birth town & time you were born to get more acurate readings :)

Astrologer sues Nasa

A £165m civil case brought by a Russian astrologer against Nasa for ruining her predictions by crashing a probe into a comet has started in Moscow.

Marina Bai claims Nasa interfered with her predictions by dending its Deep Impact probe hurtling into the Tempel-1 comet in July.

Bai is now demanding £165m compensation from Nasa for ruining her career.

These results are interesting. I thought it would be far more people wavering in the middle but even numbers have come down quite definitely on either side.
