BUSH holds his hand up

just read that president bush has took responsibility for the shortcomings of the federal governments response to katrina, whilst not being the worlds biggest bush fan,i think its a refreshing change to see a head of state do this, i,ll bet this is one american trait that (president) blair does not follow ! what do you think? ;)

He put his hand up because his administration is being hung out to dry over the whole carry on. Will give his due though for having the balls to do it.

I know where you're coming from cashman. I can admire a person who will admit to their failings more than one who defends/denies them.

*LOL* @ chav

Bush takes storm responsibility

i wud love to know how he created the storm... such power *L*

he has sorta deflected it in my opinion sayin it was the mistakes of ppl underneath him which caused this delay

Re: BUSH holds his hand up

of coarse hes deflected it to a degree! the surprise is hes accepted ANY blame, very rare for a state leader i suggest.
