Apparently David Beckham has seven cars.

I'm pretty sure that even if I had that much money I wouldn't have more than one car - or is that the girlie in me coming out?

I definately see the need for multiple cars. What if you wake up one morning and feel slightly different? It is easy to get bored with one car, but if you have multiple cars you can always use another thus lessening the boredom.
Another good reason to have multiple cars which is very relevant in accy if you live in a terraced, it annoys your neighbours! :D

never feel like i need another car, just to get me from a-b, they are definatly a convieniance but apart from that its just a car to me.

Nope sorry several cars sounds good to me, tho several lots of road tax & insurance does not.
Its bad enough trying to get 'quoted happy' for one car let alone several! And when your tax is due its a right pain getting all the right docs together! But then again if I had that many cars I'd have a few bob so maybe I would have someone to do all that for me. oh blow it I'll be chauffeur driven instead.

People on my street wouldn't be too happy tho' theres a parking issue ongoing and has been for years!!

I've just got my first car (Hyundai Getz), but if I had more coin, I'd certainly have more cars -nothing too flash, but I'd like a Smart car for nipping into town and parking, maybe a Astra, a Focus and maybe a people carrier of some kind to cart around my footballers! I'd get a Suburu Imprezza, a Nissan Skyline and a Mitsibishi Evolution for the boyf!

At my worst I owned 3 cars and 2 motorcycles. At the mo Julie and I are down to 2 cars and 3 motorcycles. This is teh lowest I've been for a long time. I do have my eye on another little soft top though. If Julie manages to sell her 4x4 we might get another.

Persoanlly there ar edifferent cras to do different tinmgs. In winter teh 4x4 is king. You can have a cartload of fun messing about in teh snow etc. Then in summer a soft top is de rigeur. A nice motorway mucnher for those long distance trips and something 'practical' for carting stuff around.

Ok we have 3 cars on our drive we have a vectra, a bmw and a escort with all the trimmings, only daddiboo drives.

The vectra is broken needs a new gasket or something like that, the bmw is about 17 years old but drives like a dream and the escort well that suits daddiboo down to the ground. I keep telling him to sell the other 2 to buy a new plasma tv to replace the one we got ripped off from tiny. He says he will when he gets round to it MEN! pha typical.

You got that right i call daddiboo half a job bob, ive got my bedroom half decorated the bathroom and toilet are the same then the front room he has put coving on the ceiling and a piece came down he never replaced it and there are doors that have been hung but dont fit and they dont have handles on them he makes me laugh he has all these wonderful idead but nothing ever comes of them! ( typical male stuff) good to know hes quite normal then.

I know someone who failed her test ten times and passed on the eleventh. You've got to persevere.

Although, of course, I still wouldn't get into a car with her and I stay off the roads when I know she's out driving but the point is that she eventually passed.

People who fail this many times shouldn't be allowed on the road. There should be a rule such as three tries and you've had it. Your second sentence appears to back me up on this.

I would have more than one car - I'd have something sensible for shopping and a TVR Griffith for fun, just for the pleasure of driving it. I have always wanted a Maserati (such a lovely deep blue) but I honestly don't think I could justify to myself spending more on a car than most people ever spend on their house.

Anyway, what makes anyone believe that David Beckham thinks? I did hear once that if he was taken over by the Devil, it would be vacant possession!
