There are certain foods that divide us; food that you either love or hate - there is no middle ground
Bovril, brussel sprouts, peanut butter and spinach Can you think of any more? PS - I hate, love, love, hate - in that order |

I love nearly every food, even brussel sprouts and spinach. The only things I can't stand are yoghurt and - Angel Delight!

Curry......the smell of it makes me throw up.......tripe......how can anyone eat anything that looks like......erm, snot.......Black pudding.....because I know what goes into them. Fishy tasting fish like sardines or mackerel. I love hot roast beef, ......bacon butties, (I wonder if the queen ever has a bacon buttie..?) and when I'm ill.....tomato soup.

I'll allow Black Pudding on to the list and tripe definitely gets a place. The rest aren't 'love em or hate em' enough.
I love Black Pudding - and I know what goes in to them. Perhaps we should get a selection and then run another poll. I'm into polls at the moment! |

Gayle, many moons ago I used to watch them being made.....it fairly put me off.....but a colleague used to eat them as soon as they were made.....still steaming......she would put lashings of picallilli on them and munch them in front of me......YUK.....!

I love Angel Delight ... butterscotch is my favourite.

I Hate Curry's & Pizza.
Anything that has herbs & spices. Chips ( exept for the ones in a chippy at Preston. ) Fish Most veg. The list goes on & on. Love Chocolate & vanilla Slices. |

Marmite (or is that too much like Bovril? Mind you, I don't like Bovril, but I do like Marmite, very very very thinly spread on a Jacobs cream cracker.

tuna and salmon but like all other fish. Don't like raw onions and am allergic to spring onions. But what I really CAN'T stand is bananas, even the smell turns my stomach. Went off them when I was pregnant with my youngest and 12 years later still can't stomach them, weird eh???

potted meat......... i hated it still do .......love dark chocolate but am now allergic to all chocolate :( cos if i eat any i spend the day after visiting the loo a lot:o

Its simple for me. I hate all processed food (cat food) I hate all junk food (pig swill) I hate Pizza (as mostly available in the UK). Donner Kebabs are recycled dog turds.I hate most fizzy drinks (except Sasperilla and Dandelion & Burdock) I despise alcopops. 'Owt else is OK.

I didn't realise how many foods I hated till I read this thread....angel delight,yoghurt, spinach, black/white puddings. Anything made by R*S* makes me ill. I love pasta mild curries & my favourite is hot hog roast muffins with loads of stuffing & apple sauce mmmm

The only 'food' I don't like is dessicated coconut. I'm allergic to Mint and MInt flavoured stuff but other than that I love all food.

Hate: Butter beans yuk, kidney beans, maple syrup, oxtail soup, blackcurrant flavour anything, parsnips the list goes on an on.

Like most things but am allergic to onions, so have to be really careful..even quavers have onion rusk in them!

What I meant by that Spuggie, was that Less likes bloody things...... things that are just a shock away from being living.......but Less now puts me right and tells me he doesn't even like his food being shown a lighted match.

I like near enough everything. Hate meatballs though, and hate MUSTARD (due to a mother with a sick sense of humour)...................
Love liver, tripe, cockles, black pudding, steak and kidney, kebabs, pizzas, curries (the hotter the better)....smoked haddock, liver................and that's all one meal:D . Not so keen on beef.............would rather have pork, lamb or chicken. Could quite easily sit there with a bowl full of hot fresh veg, with plenty of garlic salt on it and munch away. LOVE LOVE LOVE eating cucumber................mmmmm A stick of celery, with salad cream dripping down the middle......mmmmmm Raw potato with loads of salt on. Absolutely adore peanut butter with jam on toast. By the way does anyone like horlix, cos I'm just off to make a cup?? |

I don't like anything over-processed, hate Angel Delight and instant mash - they taste of cardboard. Heinz Soups are awful - I succumbed to a vegetable one a while back when David was out and guess what - it tasted of cardboard! - perhaps I just have taste buds that are attuned to cardboard??

I love Ovaltine, and Horlicks. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had a passion for Horlicks, drank mugs of it every day. That and poached fish ....
With my son it was Pontefract cakes. I had to have at least one box a day, and when the local shop ran out I drove round for hours to find some! |
