Can you eat these Staggers?
 

Thought of you when I took this pic Staggers, I know you are always after eating anything with a bit of meat on it!
Took about a dozen pics of this bat, he seemed happy to pose there for me
have to add though that its not captive it is 100% wild

It was taken in the Botanical gardens next to the Opera house in Sydney, there's 100's of them there, they dont half make a mess and noise though

why cant you eat them? K.S.H. bring a few home!we want about five!once eaten twice they thicken! toast, roast,grill,or chicken?are the rest of them comming out to dine?

How about a monitor lizard instead, found this one walking down the beach we were chiling out on, would say it was about 4 foot from head to tail

We had a one eyed trouser snake on the loose at the last meeting. It was only a small one so did not scare anyone.

If you fancy getting close to the Fruit Bats try the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, they have a large enclosure that allows the bats to fly, feed or hang around in the public eye. Beautiful Animal and even better when you can get close up.
