British Library

I have just noticed that the British Library has finally dragged itself into the twenty first century and has published an online collection of 15 early manuscripts.

Well worth having a look at, though you will need Macromedia Shockwave.

The Leonardo manuscript is a wonder.

There are links to other good bits and pieces too!

I enjoyed looking through the site and I think that it is, potentially, a very valuable use of public money. But then, being a bibliophile, I would.

I don't know how much this project has cost, but I imagine it won't have been cheap. What do members think? Do we want more or less of this kind of thing. And if we want more, what sort of things do we want to see?
