The perfect temperature
Spring has arrived here in Oz, and the last couple of days have been Hot. It's funny you seem to wait all winter for summer to come, and then when it does your reaching for the air con. my question is if you could pick a temperature to live with all year round, what would it be. I think 25c sounds nice

Re: The perfect temperature
I wouldn't like to live anywhere too hot. I do hate the cold but I also don't like it too hot either. About 22 degrees would suit me fine. I hate the rain but realise that it is needed. I never minded the rain much when I was in NZ. The views were still amazing and there was plenty to do. East Lancs looks absolutely grey and miserable when it's raining.....:)

Re: The perfect temperature
I’m not a lover of the heat, even a summer in Blackpool is too much for me. I know what you mean lettie I think any town scrape in the north of England is grey and dismal when it’s raining some are still the same in the sunshine, but out in the wilds in the Lakes or Scotland the views can be stunning with the aid of the rain and a little mist.

Re: The perfect temperature
love the sun think owt over 25 is great for me.the rain and wind etc you can keep- i don't want it lol

Re: The perfect temperature
With me, temperature is not really the issue.....but sunshine, or sunlight is.
I wouldn't mind if it was only 4 degrees as long as there was a cloudless blue sky and bright sunshine. Winter does me in....the persistent grey clouds and it never really seeming to get light. I just want to find a cave and hibernate until April. |
Re: The perfect temperature
i dont care how hot it gets during the day but 17-20c at night felt pretty good in salou the other week , i would say the perfect sleeping temperature
i hate winter because even if i use the centeral heating to warm up at night i wake up with a realy dry sore throat in the morning and the trick with a bowl of water near the radiator dosnt work |
Re: The perfect temperature
As long as the sun is shining, that's ok by me. But if it was around 20-24c that would be an added bonusl

Re: The perfect temperature
Oh I just crave heat and sunshine! The more of it the better!!
We had a total disaster with the air con system in the apartment in Spain last year. We were just going to bed and it was still warm so my Dads wife decided to set the air con settings .... mmmmmmm big mistake! You'd have thought we were sleeping in the arctic, it was freezing!! I was awoken at about 5am shivering like mad and my little teeth chattering .... we nick named it the ice-blaster for the duration of the hols and needless to say she wasn't allowed anywere near it again :) |
Re: The perfect temperature
25-30 would be fine for me - I could go cycling, work out in the garden, etc, etc
That would be heaven! |
Re: The perfect temperature

Re: The perfect temperature
Mid 20's for me, love the sunny days, dont like it too hot though, roll on spring thats my favourite time of year.
|
Re: The perfect temperature
Now I like the variation. I love cold frosty bright days, I also love snowy days but then a nice warm mid 20s to low 30s is also nice sat with a long cool drink....
I think I'd be bored if it was teh same all year round |
Re: The perfect temperature
I like the heat, about 30' is fine with me. Saudi Arabia was too hot, even for me, it was 45' in the Summer and only air-conditioning made it bearable. I don't like English Winters, far too wet.
