What dreams may come…………..
Following on from the Lottery thread, we all have dreams and aspirations in life….many will stay just that. But if your dreams or aspirations were to come true what would it mean to you as an individual and how would affect the lives of others……………
Me? I’d like to win enough to ensure that my aims could be recognised in order to develop my own care business so that the short falls in care and profiteering that I see becomes something that my users never suffer from. Of course I want my own small holding and a cottage in the lakes but why not……….. |
Re: What dreams may come…………..
Me I would be sad enough to carry on working.

quote] You have asked a question(without a question mark) that only people who have had dreams come true can answer. So the only people who can reply are the people who have had dreams come true. A dream is something we do when we are asleep.(need I say more) Example Istanbul 25/05/05...wasn't a dream for me.It was hope,it was despair,it was ecstasy,it was like a dream but it was reality but it happened. Dreams don't come true. What you hope for might come true but generally doesn't. Plz don't start a sentence with But. |
Re: What dreams may come…………..
i would like to win enough to be able to afford a new life in a country that does not have an extradition treaty with the UK and still have plenty of money left over after paying for the execution via hitman of anyone that has done me wrong over the years :)
oh and a flash car :D |
Re: What dreams may come…………..

I woke up and it was raining. |

You are obviously one who likes to be demographically correct, unfortunately it’s a condition for me and not one I can control beyond the use of a sell checker and a battery of dictionaries, trouble is I tend to be a little lazy and don’t use them that much. However, I make a pretty decent living so it can’t be all bad. |

As long as she wasn't holding you in the toilet area, you'll be ok.
Talking of dreams, I think I'll be having nightmares tonight with that thought. |

Re: What dreams may come…………..
Like most people, I do dream about winning the lottery - just imagine, never ever having to worry about money again. I could help my children, educate my grandchildren expensively, and still have enough left over to treat friends from time to time. I would travel extensively to all the places I have ever wanted to go. I could be a lady who lunches!
Probably, after six months or so, I would be so bored that I would join up with the volunteers at the local hospital or do a day or two in an Oxfam shop - you've got to have a reason to get out of bed, and if earning isn't a priority, you might otherwise stay there all day! |
Re: What dreams may come…………..
:) We’re not all that different as people are we, most of us anyway. We can have it all, but we still need a reason to get up morning above anything else.
I applaud your sentiments pendy………:) |
