there goes a firework.
This kept on going for about 30 mins them bloody chavs firing all of them off right outside of our door

Do you think that its time for a ban on these things or should we selling

i think they should just be left to professionals and their displays

Re: bloody chavs

There a few here but seem to be either small ones or further towards the town centre. Sad thing is its bits of kids doing it and the police cant catch them.

Re: bloody chavs

there are restrictions but its things like people over 18 and no fireworks allowed after 11 pm i think they get older ppl to buy them and set them off...
the animals are going crazy

Did you hear about the dog that had a firework tied to it - it literally exploded. It almost sounds like the opening to a joke but honest, it's true and awful.

Re: bloody chavs

been going off all night, the dogs terrified, think its ridiculous that there are no restrictions(being enforced) the scum that did that to the dog gayle should have likewise done to them if apprehended, punishment fit the crime springs to mind, but no doubt some people will disagree - TOUGH thats my twopennorth.

Re: bloody chavs

some people eh...?
i really think that there shjould be a ban on some of the fireworks and find a more constructive outlet instead
its been known that some kids use these to blow up phone boxes

Re: bloody chavs

Why do we set off fireworks anyway to celebrate the foiling of the gunpowder plot when fireworks are Chinese, and not traditionally English?

Re: bloody chavs

Well after the attempt to blow up parliament was thwarted, I can understand people having bonfires on following November the fifths to celebrate, but why fireworks, they came from China?

chav1 31-10-2005 22:47

Re: bloody chavs

ive been saving up fireworks for the past 10 years and finaly i think i have enough to make 1 large barrel of gunpowder..

does anyone have the blueprints for the town hall handy..?

no particular reason i just fancy swatting up on the structual integrity of the place , its a new hobby of mine :D

Re: bloody chavs

YO Mr Fawkes why not set of the fireworks when the council is in session and give them what we suffer for weeks in one lovely display of colour and noise. If loud enough it might blow some sense into them, but considering most have a large space between their ears it might be a waisted effort.

Re: bloody chavs

I think it they should be left to professional displays, there are so many idiots out there these days. My mums dog goes potty everytime she hears one.

SPUGGIE J 01-11-2005 20:15

Re: bloody chavs

They are not always caught these idiots, but when i was younger a rocket I set of went wrong and hit an old lady. I admitted it and was cautioned by the police but only because i went to speak to them of my own accord. Was cautioned under some part of the fire arms act of all things.

Re: bloody chavs

Fireworks and bonfire night are now a totally outdated passion. The sooner the whole thing is banned the better.I have dealt with death, serious injury, misery and everything that goes with it just because we try to keep up a stupid so called historical incident. The TV are even spending a mint on reconstructing the idiotic farce tonight. God knows why. Bann the explosive hand held bombs that maim, kill and injure thousands every year. Think of the ones that have to deal with the **** these things cause year in and year out.
Bann the firework!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
