Re: Money to burn!

I can see A-b's point. A few fireworks on Nov 5th is one thing, being under constant bombardment night after night and all through the night last night is quite a different matter. My girls said it felt like we were in the middle of a war zone.

Also when you can end up getting a dud rocket which could have caused serious damage/injury then there is even more cause for concern.

I wondered who had redecorated my bedroom and moved my bed. The new drapes are simply fabulous, as are all the soft furnishings, thank you.:)

Thank you also claryifying that you DO indeed like fireworks, but only on November the fifth at a reasonable hour, and are in favour of people being allowed to purchase as many as they like, unless they are benefits.

I think it's sad Bif isn't pampered. I thank you.:)

Some prat is still letting fireworks of up here and the police are nowhere to be found thats typical. The place sounds like a warzone and some poor moterist will be getting it in the neck.

Well, last night was the seventh of November, and they were still at it!

When I was a little 'un, Bonfire night was just that; one night a year. Which is what made it so special and exciting. Dragging it on for three months takes all the fun out of it and makes it tedious and annoying, a bit like shops putting up Christmas decorations in September.

Watching a group of blokes, one an ex-fireman, trying to put it out was one of the funniest things I've seen this year!! Not being able to run a pi.. up in a brewery springs to mind :D
