Re: deal or no deal

Yes Granny I love it!! :D I was gripped to todays, shame she didn't hold out for one more deal!

Re: deal or no deal

I don't like it.:( I was totally hooked on what was in that time slot before, 'Come Dine with Me', as well as those hilarious programmes about the gay couple in Cyprus, and also the one about the couple Ann and David buying a chateau in Slovakia.

I used to watch all those nutty people and feel quite sane afterwards.

Re: deal or no deal

I must admit I haven't given the programme much of a chance, having only watched about five minutes, and seeing Noel Edmonds again was a bit freaky.

On your's and Tinky's recommendation I shall give it another go, if it's as exciting as you say.:)

Tinkerbelle 14-11-2005 18:08

Re: deal or no deal

lol! We love it here because thinking what you would do in their position, I tend to edge on the safe side and mthead being the reckless risk taker that he is ;) always says 'no deal'. Hope he never gets aspirations of being on the show I'd kill him lol! :D

Re: deal or no deal

well like tinks said ,i was really urging adrienne to go on tonight ...
she was a really smashing woman and i'd have liked to have seen her win more

Tinkerbelle 14-11-2005 18:14

Re: deal or no deal

I like her husband too Granny, they seemed a lovely complimentary couple :)

SPUGGIE J 14-11-2005 19:04

Re: deal or no deal

Managed to see a bit of it and its nerve rackingly good. Whatching those boxes open is like a shot of adrenalin even more than Who Wants To Be a Millionare.

Re: deal or no deal

I first saw this out in Oz and I was hooked.....it is one of the few programmes on TV that I enjoy. I liked the 'Come dine with Me' but felt it was deserving of a better time slot.....I hope it comes back in the future, but in an early evening spot so that more folk can enjoy it.

I can't help but think every time I see Noel Edmunds now, that it is funny his wife left him to run off with a bisexual transvestite.

Bless.

Being a style icon myself I would dress a tranny, if I had one, in vintage Ossy Clarke with accesories by Jil Sander.:)

I'd better stop now or we'll get smacked for thread wandering.

From Channel 4 to transvestite make overs.

On second thoughts haven't they done a series on it already?;)

Well it will come down to who has the worst jumper on the show Noel or a guest. Any comments to deal or no deal wardrobe department care of channel 4. If the contestant is the worst hope they win enough for a new outfit :)

Like I'd ever tell you ;) !! You would never have reason to laugh at the men I find attractive, I have rather good taste in men ........... even if I do say so myself :D

SPUGGIE J 15-11-2005 17:22

Re: deal or no deal

That you bragging or what? With that kind of confidence you should aplly for the show T. :)

Tinkerbelle 15-11-2005 17:27

Re: deal or no deal

Bragging? No! lol! I was just merely pointing out that I don't share my mums debateable 'taste' in men :)

SPUGGIE J 15-11-2005 17:34

Re: deal or no deal

The same can be said about anybodies taste in men or women. Mines abysmal and no comment before you ask. ;)

well i am still hooked on this show.... looks like its got others hooked too.....

garinda 19-01-2006 22:28

Re: deal or no deal

Sorry Granny, I've watched it two days in a row now and have decided it's daft.

There is no skill involved at all, it's all down to luck.

It's like watching horse racing but without having a bet on yourself.

cant wait for tonight....

shakermaker 20-01-2006 11:57

Re: deal or no deal

I think it's a good thing that there's no skill involved.

I'm sick of these smart alecs coming on telly saying they're 'professional telly gamers' comeon how sad is that?!

All down to luck, can only be a good thing!

Re: deal or no deal

It was just to big a sum to take the risk of ending up with a pound. It made it worse for him coz he knew he had the big money in his box.
He was a brilliant game player.

Re: deal or no deal

i would have took the money!, there was no other choice really if it had been between the £50,000 and the £250,000 then you could risk it but dont go against the pound! Great game.
