WAlk Away And I Stumble

Anyone else watching this 2 part series tonight and tomorrow on ITV? The small clips advertising it that I've seen have had me virtually in tears, so I'm really looking forward to it ...... hope I'm not disappointed. I've got the hankies ready :)

Hehehehe..... So you're looking forward to being reduced to tears???? Actually, it does look quite good but I'll be working tomorrow when the second part is on. I may video it but I always forget. I'll have to leave a note for myself as a reminder.:D

Yeh, I'm looking forward to that Tinkerbelle, although 2 parters are one of my pet hates .. sometimes forget the second bit. Feel sometime when they are that long they stretch the story line and becomes weak, however, will keep an open mind and get my wine out too whilst eating me tea with Grandaughter.. Oh Gawd, bet she will moan about having it on ! Well tough.

Ok so I've tried that one, but never seemed to find the time to watch 3/4 hours in one go or someone has inadvertently recorded over it ! So, what's gonna' happen I wonder? She's gotta' go no doubt, no miracles there, just a matter of whether he is going to settle back with his wife and family or walk into the distance searching for another wham, bam relationship.
What ya' think gals ? Must watch tomorrow .. compulsive, could be wrong on both counts.
Gayle: Macbeth, yeh, that's what grandaughter wanted to watch; am I leading her down the incorrect path to an intellectual futureI wonder

I can't wait to find out what happens tonight. I don't know what will happen or what I want to happen! Next box of hankies at the ready :)

The thing that surprises me most is that a man has wrote it!

Men are urged to get in touch with their feminine side and here is a good result. Why the suprise?

Tinkerbelle 15-11-2005 16:37

Re: WAlk Away And I Stumble

mmmmmm I'm just surprised that it is so unbiased from male or female points of view and that no-one is portrayed as a victim, whether it be the male or female, you just feel sympathy to all concerned.

Did you watch it Spug?

Have more interesting things to do than watch hours of tv. Mind is bad enough without tellydoing more damage. :)

Me neither .. thought of another two possible endings... maybe the wife will shack up with the Irish guy ... nah, he 'aint in the same class as the husband, if you know what I mean ;) She could offer to take the husband back but with conditions. Maybe make a 'hubby flat' out of that good-sized garage they have, and only let him out to repair the tree house that the kid insisted ripping apart. Ne'er mind, eh ?? All will be revealed shortly.

I know exactly what you mean ;)

I thought the wife was going to end up with the copper but it doesn't look likely ..... lol copper might even have been her brother, I couldn't work out what he was mate or family.

In honesty I think the wife will be there to pick up the pieces for him.

Oh ? What do they sound like then ??

Hey Tinkerbelle, forgot about the copper, no, he is a mate and definitely has longings for the wife, but she only regards him in a brotherly fashion, mmmm will be a little more from that I guess. Maybe he will try to run the hubbie over with his patrol car !!
Or maybe, the hubbie jumps into the lake after his paramour and drowns, then the wife commits suicide and the children are taken into care.. No, that too extreme, don't wish that to happen. I WANT a happy ending please.
Can't wait .. must get on with making tea now ready for the final conclusion. :)
