Break the law in the country you are visiting then face the consiquences. Singapore is know for being strict so why chance the stretching of the neck.

If found guilty let's hope Gary Glitter feels the full weight of Asian law as well.

I think that should read 'thieve over here and you don't even get them smacked'!!!

Respect to the singapore government for not backing down to the pressures of the goody goody brigade. String em up!

the singapore leader stood up and said sory but he broke the law , it was a huge amount of drugs and we have a strict policy regarding drugs

well done i say

pity we dont have the same laws here and they should also apply to addicts who steal and mug people to feed their habbit

Good on Singapore, should be more like that in this country. We're far to soft.

Re: australian hung in singapore

lets get a taste of the british goverments mentality ..
i heard on the news tonite ronnie bigs is asking the home secretary for a pardon ....strange yes ronnie was a criminal yes he deserved punishment for his crime robbing a train ,but none were dead !!!on the same hand i hate to burden you fine people with our politics the british goverment pardons all terrorists in northern ireland ..whats next a pardon for people who planned the london bomb ..no you might cry never well dont bet on it in my eyes a terrorists a terrorist wether it carried out by muslims or irish scumbags ..and i know a scum bag when i see one
in short the law is a joke,, ronnie bigs crime ,train robbery, in jail seeking pardon ..
terrorists murdered policemen, soldiers and innocent people ,if caught at most they serve 15 years ,if not caught they now have no crimes to answer for ......yet again i appoligize for going of on one but the law really does my head in

If Ronnie Biggs had served his porridge instead of scarpering to Rio, he could have been released in 1978.

g' day mate
well that may be the case ... or it might not look at the krays yes bad b******s convicted murderers .rot in jail key thrown away ...so maybe biggsy wouldnt have been so lucky after all
terrorists and other murders out after 15 or less ,murder is murder and the british goverment seem to have a category for it ..on one hand its alright to blow people up on the other its not alright to be a gangster and run some poor unforunate through on a sword or such forth
