Do shop owners ever stop moaning?
 

In all the Christmas's that I can remember, and there have been more than I care to mention, never once have I heard Retailers say that they are looking forward to a bumper Christmas. Never. Not Once.

This season, the economy is still puffing along merrily, although maybe not as speedily as it was. The housing market is springing back to life, inflation and unemployment are still under firm control and the UK is outperforming Europe in almost any economic indicator you care to mention.

Yet depite all this positiveness the news from the High Street might have come straight from the recession hit 1970's....

Trying to make us feel guilty and buy more. That and the fact they cannot compete withe the web pricings as a rule. All the modern techno gadjets they used to love are their undoing. Do I feel sorry for them....errrrr..........nope not a chance. :D

im sure we've been here before ,why this could almost have been last year ,picture the headlines shops fear the worst xmas in 21 years ,and the year before that fear the worst in 20 years etc etc ...but after christmas you usually find opps this has been the best year yet .....but until the hype is over you wont know that .............

Ifthey start that crud then next year more and more people will buy of the net and from places not linked to the moaners. Think its people power or something.
