X Factor
Chico has now gone!Who is going to win?
we have Brenda Andy Shayne Journery South SO WHO WILL IT BE? |
Re: X Factor
The one with the most votes. As I dont watch it gonna guess at Brenda.
|
Re: X Factor
Brenda Is Very Good Great Guess
|
Re: X Factor
Don't care, don't care, don't care - singing lalalalalala with fingers in my ears. I wanted Chico to win and I wanted Jimmy to win I'm a Celeb - so disappointed. Although I suppose I could have actually helped them both by voting!
|
Re: X Factor
Brenda has the better voice & I would love her to win it, but think it will be Shane as it tends to be women who vote.
|
Re: X Factor
Now what does that say about these kind of programs?
|
Re: X Factor
Please all vote Brenda. She has one fab voice.
I cant vote cause i have premium numbers blocked on my BT line. Brenda to win ! |
Re: X Factor
Ok jimmi will have to take your word for it as I dont watch it. Is she worth a shot at the bookies?
|
Re: X Factor
I think ... Shayne will win.
|
Re: X Factor
I think its between Andy and Brenda, but I am getting a little tired of the sob stories.... boo hoo I'm a binman etc.etc.
|
Re: X Factor
Come on young Mr Timmins, why don't you open a book up in the betting shop?
These ackers are burning a hole in my pocket. |

Re: X Factor
Think it may be Shayne that wins, although I like Journey South.
|
Re: X Factor
I think Journey South will be the next to go, leaving Brenda, Andy and Shane as the most well deserved winner :)
BUT I will miss Chico this week :( |
Re: X Factor
I think Andy will be next to go - he's a bit of a one trick pony, good crooner but limited beyond that.
|
Re: X Factor
Hmmm I couldn't imagine Andy on Top Of The Pops some how ........ a cruise ship maybe!
|
Re: X Factor
Brenda to win, I think.
|
Re: X Factor
Brenda ...Brenda....Brenda .....
|
Re: X Factor
See I was right......................................:)
|
Re: X Factor
oh well Andy back to the bins!! Wonder how many people will give him a christmas tip!!!

Re: X Factor
cant stand shows like the x factor - fuelling yet more corporate blandness into the charts and stopping decent new music getting radio air-play.
pop music IS dead :( |

Re: X Factor
thats the problem with pop music; whenever something new and pure and good comes through, the industry keeps reproducing it until it is bland, tasteless turd....thus creating shows like this to find the next wannabe turd
|
Re: X Factor
It's always been the same. Music is an industry of men in suits, from Col. Parker to Malcolm McClaren.
|
Re: X Factor
Malcolm McClaren just needed an energetic medium to sell clothes.
He didnt care about the music or what it stood for. As is the story of 99.9999999% of the 'suits' in music. Of course there is always the odd Tony Wilson bobbing around somewhere... |

Re: X Factor
never 'owned' a band Tony Wilson
never held a contract to a band Tony Wilson constantly looking for new talent Tony Wilson discovered Joy Division (& New Order obviously) and Happy Mondays! in my opinion the industry could do with a lot more Tony Wilsons!! |

Will did this with his eyes when the result was announced, beating the favourite- Rindy streetches eyes wide, looking more like lovely Will, than the rubbery faced Anthony Wilson. |

i know what you mean though he is no way straight but he does run his label for a lot of the right reasons, looking for great new bands in unthinkable places instead of owning a conveyor belt running off thousands of Kylies.....shudder shudder |

Re: X Factor
The Hacienda was going for years before the E-scene started as well.
Again I was there. |
Re: X Factor
ah the Hacienda - couldnt remember the name; came up with some rather silly ones haha.
i know it was there a while before the whole Madchester thing, just saying that he lost a lot of money in the place. i just admire the guy for finding one of my favourite bands (Joy Division) and for the whole ideaology of Factory records, "the artist owns all their music and publishing rights and everyone else can f**k off" in his own blood! bonkers! |
Re: X Factor
We won't fall out, as we basically agree again.:)
Bit worrying. |
Re: X Factor
rather!
btw i saw 24 Hour Party People the other night which is why i got on my high horse ha ha |

Re: X Factor
wasnt too great, Steve Coogan trying to be Tony Wilson and coming off as Alan Partridge yet again!
Ralf Little appeared as Hooky from Joy Division which was great! the hallucinations in the Happy Mondays section of the film were hilarious, at one point Tony Wilson 'saw God', and of course - it looked exactly like........Tony Wilson! all because of some great gear Shaun Ryder brought back from the bahamas haha |
