What are you particular about?

There are many things which we would always choose to have but often accept substitutes. For instance, I would prefer a glass of pinot grigio but wouldn't refuse any other white wine if offered. Also, whilst I prefer dark bounty's if there were only milk ones in the shop I wouldn't be that particular. But what is there that you will NEVER, EVER accept substitutes for?

For me, it's not particularly posh, but it's M&S underwear. I've tried others in the past, I often look at the cheaper offerings in Asda but I simply won't budge. I know they fit me and they always last!

So what are you particular about?

If it's the right person?
No not always really bothered will have a go at anyone.
Alcohol?
Oh yes if the thread contains alcohol I'm there.
Chocolate?
Only if it's white chocolate, (well we all have our prejudices!).
Woman's underwear?
Well gosh!
snigger, snigger
, (joyous schoolboy laugh), Oh yeah!

So all in all, I would say I am only 50% likely to answer a thread like this, by the way if I was to use daffys
method of calculation that would probably increase to 75%.

Coffee is my must have. I will only use 1 brand as I don't particularly like any other. If I go to a cafe out of town or someones house I will drink any but always enjoy going home for a 'decent' brew. Liquorice alsorts is another unless I can get 'the original' make I don't bother.

Gee thanks, that must be why I spill most of whats offered on the carpet.;)

What am I particular about? Friends. Two strikes and they're out. Sounds terrible but after years of keeping friendships alive when they really should have ended, I've become very mercenary about it now.

Skimmed milk in tea please.....and real tea leaves. I can't drink tea with either semi skimmed milk or full cream milk in it......and I can't abide tea bags.

Ladies undies would not suit but agree with the Guinness being better overthere and couldnt drink it here but over the water had no problem.

Have to have the same coffee same chocolate and same curry oh and a decent pint. If the pub serves a cracking pint but still has spittoons I dont care its the pint that matters. :D

Re: What are you particular about?

I am very stringent about my cider. It has to be Strongbow.......nothing else will do. Blackthorn is too dry and is cheap dross, Woodpecker is way too sweet it strips my palate off and makes me fart, Autumn Gold.....don't even go there. I do prefer my Stongbow on draught, but will resort to a bottle if there's nowt else. If there is no Strongbow whatsoever, I have been known to have a word with the landlord stressing that lack of knowledge about decent cider is not a good work attribute.......I have even been known to have a soft drink instead of a rank alternative.
