For he is tomorrow at 10am having both his big toes nails taken off at Accy Vic. Its not a pleasant thing to have done, as i had mine done a few years ago and i got complications afterwards.

They keep ingrowing at an alarming speed. I had simular problems and my nails went to approx 4mm thick and chiropodist struggled to treat them. Alecs nails are only paper thin so shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Thanks for your wishes, we have just got back from Accy Vic. Alec had 6 injections and has had it done. He was very brave. He has had the corners of his nails taken away.

Is there such a thing as a Nail Fairy, as in a Tooth Fairy? If so, did you keep the bits that were cut off? If you did you could stick 'em under his pillow tonight and when he wakes up tomorrow they could turn into brand new £5 coins (available from the Post Office - but be quick - stocks are going fast!)

Grandaughter had to have this done when she was 14 ... was very painful before and now none ... silver lining is saves on the nail varnish :)

I just want to thank you all for your support. Im feeling good now and am bounching back lol. Im trying to walk around and do things for my self as i am that way out lol, but i am grateful for having a mum like my mum.. thanks mum!
