Hyndburn Calendar 2006

I have recently read that the good residents of Whitley Bay, North Tyneside have produced a 2006 Calendar which displays the town's eyesores. I would assume that like most scenic calendars, this would involve a picture per month.

Were we to do the same in Hyndburn, then of course, we would be spoilt for choice; we could probably create one on a view-per-day basis, starting with the gun shop sign (Jan 1st) and ending up with Church Warehouse (31st Dec). However, for simplicity's sake, what 12 piccy's would you have for Hyndburn for January through to December 2006? There are quite a few on in the Piccy section.

I just did a quick search and found this picture of Accy on a site called idonohoe all about Accrington.

I think it would make a good picture for April, because the moss reminds me of Spring.

Although I see the point of your thread Tealeaf, it is a bit unfair. We should have a sister thread with pictures of the most beautiful bits of Hyndburn as well, of which we have lots.

One of the months would have to have the piccy of the rubbish dumped at the bottom of my street which I posted on here a while ago. It happened a fortnight before the carnival and took them about 10 or 11 days to remove it. Maybe that could be July..:D
