Finished work

I know some people will be working over Christmas but I just wanted to let you know - and to gloat a little - that I've finished today for two weeks.

I've got a few bits and pieces to do tomorrow but I can do that from home but otherwise I can now officially say that the Christmas holidays have started.

What about the rest of you - when do the holidays start for you?

PS - apologies to the people who provide our invaluable emergency services, I know you don't get much of a holiday so I do hope you get a short break at some point to celebrate Christmas.

I’ll will hopefully be finished Friday lunch and return on the 28th; however, I will be on call throughout the Christmas and New Year period just as I am the rest of the year.

I dont get any time off this year again so I week sounds like bliss. On a good note I have 28 days hols to use by the end of march and then I get a minimum of 37 for next year.

yeah but by the sounds of it you have trouble getting chance to take them so they end up not being much use!!!!

I finish in 6 hours 37 minutes. Back in Wednesday. I worked Christmas Day for nearly 10 years on teh trot so its nice to have a change. Having said that, They are offering 4x pay for cover on Christmas Day, I may be tempted if they want me
