Caution : Travellers Are In Town : Lock Yer Doors !
Message really for people in Church / Dill Hall area. The travellers are back again visiting family members. They have already burgled one house on Norfolk Grove, Boxing Day (occupant knows it was them but is too frightened to go to police in case of reprisals from them), witnesses saw them casually walking from the burgled house to their relatives carrying a large flat screen tv and i witnessed them myself do a runner from a taxi that had picked them up from Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
These are the same travellers that set their dog on my cat when she was in the garden in the summer with her kittens. So please be extra vigilant around here and keep an eye on your cats ! Chrissie |

I have to say if I caught a traveller in my back garden up to no good or even thinking about trying to gain entry to my house I would be up on a serious assault charge - would not think twice about it - now I know some of you may say thats wrong but we work damn hard for what we own & I am sure I will let anyone take it away from me ( having had my back garden broken into twice and had flags & tools & back gate(??) nicked it is infuriating to say the least - and you can go on all you want about reprisals I dont care what anyone says - if a group of travellers wish to start something with me then they better be prepared for a battle ( I would call in those favours that are owed to me by certain people) - I would not let them beat me down to a submission as there would be 1 loser & it wouldnt be me !!
like I have said I would happily go to court for it - no problems at all ! rant over with sorry. |

Nowt to be sorry about glasgow guy, you sum up my feelings exactly. It's a strange sort of justice where the victims are made to feel guilty and the offenders often get let off or, have their hands slapped or go to prison where conditions are invariably better than they would have been for them in civvy street.
I'm in no way getting at the police, simply the politically correct, liberal justice system that we have. |

Last time we had a thread like this we were all called Nazis! I think I was the worst of the lot because I was intollerant of those who sought to steal from us and leave their mess behind.
The should be brought to justice but they rely on the fact that people are afraid of them. |

the ploice cant do anything realy because when arrested they get bail and dissapear with no way of tracing them because the mojority dont even have birth certificates and other identity documentation etc
i am refering to propper travelers not those that claim to be travelers and pitch a caravan in a trailor park for years |

The way the law stands at the moment they can do as they please providing its commen land. Well thats unless you live in a picture postcard village full of toffs in which case they shout jump and the law askes how high. Its reached the pits when everone from kid to pensioner is scared of the "travellers" and the police do SFA! Maybe if we dumped them next door to the aloof mob we might get them do do something as it seems that hard working grunts of the working class have no say in how we would like to live. There seems to be an attitude higher up that working class people shouldnt be listened to!!!
