"Stanley fans see red after former mascot returns to stadium"

Now there is something that might be interesting over the next week or so. Besides thought he was persona non grata at the IES.

You can't blame Stanley fans, they are worried as to wether their kids are safe. Although he has been 'punished' it's still worrying that he could use 'the crowds' as an excuse to continue his naturally tactile behaviour.

Shall have to read the full story tomorrow, but going of what i've read on here and also what i've heard I have told my 14 year old daughter that she is not allowed to go to anymore Stanley games, have explained why and she understands, in fact i would go as far to say that she is as disgusted as myself on this matter. Thought they wanted to get the gate numbers up, well i'm affraid they have gone the wrong way about it and i hope that they have a fall in numbers. It will certainly serve them right.

THERE WILL BE A LOT OF KIDS MISSING IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS HITTING THE GATE MONEY EVEN MORE. There needs to be a rethink by all over this and ban him from all grounds.

Re: Accringtopn Observer this Friday (6 January)

My daughter won't be missing for the next few weeks spuggie, she agrees with me and WON'T be going back this season, and if i have my way she won't be going back anytime.

Kids have to come before the club in this case. Though I love my home town team as a parent I am worried.

I think the club have underestimated just how strongly people think about this.

It's not the sort of story the club needs at this potentially exciting time in their history.

I wish it could be dead and buried, which I fear it won't be whilst this man attends.

It was nice to see 'our' June in sunny Teneriffe.:)

Nice story.

Thanks, Garinda...I was helped an awful lot by June's cooperation and brilliant writing skills.

Is June going to be your apprentice then vitty?

I know this may appear a little off-topic, as it doesn't involve the Stanley monkey, but has anybody else read the Ob's front page?
'Killer Dogs on the Rampage'!!!!!???? From what I can understand, nothing was killed! The dogs were not killers. Sure, they attacked a horse in a horrific incident that should never have happened, but the headline is entirely misleading surely?

Re: Accringtopn Observer this Friday (6 January)

Read the story on the attack and am appaled! Add that to the owners non cooperation its madness. If they do not hand over these dangerouse animals they should be hauled to court for the attack and be imprisoned for not turning the dogs over. It sounds like a couple of teen headbangers own these dogs.

A nice article Vitty x

I had an email earlier from an old mate who had settled down to eat his breakfast and read the Observer........he turned the page and there I was! He did say that I ought to have been on page three, bless him!

Would you believe that I also received an email from a chap I knew years ago, who now lives in California...........the power of the press!

I'm waiting for my interview date, Spuggie J!

Joking apart, I have quite enjoyed it and I trust that my friend Carol, travelling back to the Scilly Islands today, enjoys it too!
