The way I read the story is that Time is just the brand name, not the company.
This is a new firm who have bought up old computer equipment on the Simonstone site from the administrators, got the rights to the 'Time' name and logo and are now making computers.
So it's a different company, just making comuters with 'Time' stamped on the side.
That make sense to everyone?
They may have trouble in the future because the Time name has been dragged through the mud.

Unless, of course they rebrand and successfully distance themselves from the prior operation

However, there may now be a small glimer of hope for the creditors of the company, if the administrators have now received payment for the sale of the company assets. Customs & Revenue will have priority, followed by the banks and other secured & preferred creditors. It is just possible that those customers who forked out money in advance, by cheque or direct debit, will end up with a few pence in the pound back. 'Owts better than nowt.

Can't see there being any recompense for former customers or suppliers. Companies often do this as a way of avoiding paying debts or carrying out horrendous amounts of warranty work.

One possible good thing could be that EMIT may re-open :D

I think they would need to re-brand, can't see them doing much business on the 'Time'.......too much badwill.
