"They" is actually "weird" Al Yankovic, otherwise known simply as Weird Al and he has made a very tidy living in the USA from parodies of other songs. The eBay song is based on one by the Backstreet Boys but I've momentarily forgotten the title of it. It's one of my favourite Weird Al songs. I love the AOL one too which is a parody of "Rocking Pneumonia". He's very popular with Mimi and her sister. There's a brilliant "Queen" parody called "Another One Rides The Bus"
