well ive a saga to tell!!!

as you know i sent 25 christmas cards to roy & family
the nice russian postman took them to their flat on the 16th december...no one in .. card left telling them he would deliver them again on the 19th dec, well the poor man arrived again with said cards.......no one in ...... left card to pick them up from the post office collection office ........nastya did not find the card telling her this until the begining of january, so off she trooped down to the place ...only to be told ."you are too late .we have sent them back to england ". they have arrived here this morning. unopened ...........all those with cheques in please pm me & i will send them back to you ...thanks

Its a shame they never got the cards. They could burn them to keep warm :)

Well I am absolutely shocked that they have been all the way to Moscow, and gone all the way back to you untouched. I had absolutely zero confidence in the russian post service to get them to us, never mind getting them back to you again afterwards! Thanks everyone for the thoughts... I just wish we had found the delivery notices earlier. As we live in a block of flats the card was posted into a little pigeon hole, the card then made it to the flat somehow but nobody told us that it had been delivered! grrrrrrrrr.....

Oh, well. I was beginning to wonder why Roy hadn't thanked us for the cards but now it's obvious.

All I was saying was that I hadn't pegged Roy as being rude and he obviously isn't so everything is fine with the world - apart from the Russian postal service.

He would have been enjoying my sloppy seconds I'm afraid yes, but I'm sure it's nice and dry after all this time.
