At one point yesterday, it was reported they were selling three million tickets per minute.


The biggest winner would still be the Lottery companies.

Actualy I think it was something like Half a pence goes to the actual lottery, 28p to good causes and I assume the rest goes in to the Jackpot, so although they will be wealthy from it, the winner is certainly the biggest winner :p

First of all i would buy a brand new car. Had mine wrote of Tuesday night (thankfully no-one hurt.) Then decide about the rest of the money whilst driving around.

I would buy a house, and a busines, I'd buy a sensible car, fun but not over priced cos cars lose money too quick. I'd enjoy life and make sure those around me enjoy it too.

I would buy a big plot of land in the country and design my own house with a huge landscaped garden at the bottom i would have two nice cottages built one for my mum and dad and one for my boyfriends mum! i would buy them a car each and give my lil sister probably around 20 million if not probably more.
I would treat my very close friends to a fantastic holiday.
I would buy my gran and grandad a house in turkey seen as there always there.
I would give a million to nspcc.
Id still be unhappy though with not working so i would probably go and work in a charity shop voluntarily.
Then i would probably be happy spending my money on close familiy and friends, i cant spend my money on myself im too nice for my own good.:D

You wouldnt have time to work in a charity shop boo, i think you'd be busy investing your time and money in a charity project. You come across as a kind caring generous unselfish person, a rare breed these days.

I would by a house and car for the children.
Open trust funds for all the Grand-children.
Give them all money to go on a good holiday.
Buy a nice bungalow for Mick and I.
We would go to America.
Then the rest would go in the bank.
Oh and I would treat my friends of course.

I agree with Grannyclaret. In my opinion a million would be sufficient for most people, I think if they cut the jackpot down and upped the rest of the prize money it would be a lot better and maybe people would buy more tickets.

i would buy my children a different home each, see my eldest g/children set up with a home each .....buy myself a modest detached bungalow nr the coast. & would have a chauffeur to drive me around, a daily to do my cleaning & such .. & set up trust funds for the rest of my g/children.......... then id be bored to tears.
