How Romantic is your partner and what have they done to keep the romance alive?
Mick has done quite a few romantic things over the years.
The best thing he did was just before we moved to Accy when we were living with my Mum. He bought me a silk Kimono for my Birthday and laid it out on my side of the bed. It was covered in gorgious little red rose buds.
I thought he'd forgot.
When I went up stairs I litteraly screamed I was so shocked. I screamed that loud Mum came running up stairs thinking I had seen a spider. All I could do was point to the bed mouth open. Lost for words. I was so shocked and moved.

my fella is not romantic at all, he once sent me a huge bouquet of flowers when we first got together and then he had to go out shopping because i didnt have a vase to put them in!!

Romance dosent come into my partner's vocabulary he is about as romantic as a wet dirty dish cloth.
The best is prob lying next to me on seatee watching a horror!

I can remember once when i was driving i asked my fella to light me a cigarette. When he gave it to me the end was wet through and i couldnt get a decent drag on it. When i told him his reply was " I gave the end a sloppy kiss for you" ... ewwwwww. Now if that is romance, god help me !

His defination of romance is treating me to a bacon bagette from the local bakery ! Then he lets me know how much it cost ! :eek:

Ian is very romantic, When we got engaged I had been very ill, he told me were going out for a meal, it was only when we had been in the car for an hour that I realised somthing wasn't right. He'd got my mum to pack me a bag and took me on holiday to Scotland. He proposed on Valentine Day I'd been in a bad mood all Valentines as he hadn't bought me a card, it was only after he had proposed at a little place called Sweetheart Abbey that I realised why he was late giving me the card it was to 'my fiance'.

He also took me on holiday to Paris and made up a picnic, we sat in the gardens of the Eiffel Tower drinking pink champange.

We've been together twelve years and he still spoils me rotten, he's always buying me flowers and chocolates.

I think boys should be given compulsive romance lessons whilst they are in school. Men and romance in the same sentence ..... I don't think so! :rolleyes:

Mine is sort of romantic - I always get a big bunch of flowers for Valentines and Birthdays but the rest of the time it's not so obvious. He often brings home treats for me like crisps or wine unexpectedly but then again, I'm not the most romantic person either. So it suits us fine!
