E-mail from son which was also posted to all his mates  .. opened attachment, but for some reason only getting sound no pictures and said "Say it with flowers" .. Suspect the video attached, which I am am having problems viewing, was probably quite naughty.

A quarter of a pound of fruit bon-bons (now done up in gold foil wrappers) from the foreign gentleman who deals with our French office and sits next to me at work.

Ok .. few sexy text messages from a certain person, but would have preferred the roses or dinner for two thank you very much/he's crossed off me Christmas list for starters !!

Still not ignored though wasI :) Have to be grateful for small mercies.

Got a bunch of roses and gave a stepometer. Chris even bought Maddie a rose and some chocolates for Zack. You can tell who the romantic is in our household.

In my defense, Chris is running the Manchester run in May and so I thought it would be a practical gift for him to help with his training.

Re: Valentines day gifts

I got a card from Lettie and the 1st series of "Shameless" on DVD, which I had been looking for since before Christmas.
Lettie was working late on Valentine's Day, so me being the cynic that I am breathed a huge sigh of relief that we didn't have to pay over the odds in a restaurant that night. Instead, we went out on Wednesday evening, to Weezo's, in Clitheroe. The meal was excellent; well presented and very tasty. I can thoroughly recommend this place.
I think we are catching the bug for eating out, 'cos for Friday tea I took Lettie for her 1st visit to the Claccy Diner, Clayton St Chippy, in great Harwood. How can fish, chips & mushy peas taste so good? If you wanna know, visit this chippy. Don't let it be said that I can't show a girl a good time! :p
