I’ll actually enjoy reading that at some point over the next few days. Pity we can’t seem to focus past a few negatives. I felt this post was intended to inform in a positive manner. :)

Mani mate, I've met you and hopefully we got on, some of the things I've posted recently I've hoped you've not taken offence at, but tolerance works both ways.

This thread may inform some people, and that can only be for the good. A lot of religion I have a problem with, mainly because they seem to have a problem with me.

I have been angered by what has gone on, and been said in the last few weeks. By challenging this does it make me a racist? I hope not.

I do know that the last time I wrote a letter to the press I was sixteen years old when I challenged the National Front, resulting in death threats and the windows of my parent's home were smashed.

Intolerance in every form is evil, be it from Muslim extremists or right wing idiots.

Hopefully tolerance on all sides will see us in Britain through.

Mani by making this comment, you have placed yourself in the category of those who you criticise.

I respect every persons right to follow the religion of their choice......but that doesn't mean I have to subscribe to those beliefs too.

Recently, Peter Costello (the Minister for the Treasury in Australia) drew an interesting analogy......he said that when entering a mosque it is a sign of respect to remove your shoes......if you feel uncomfortable with that, then you don't enter the mosque...he went on to say that Australia (a host country to many muslims) has a similar concept....if you don't like the way the people live.... then you don't enter.

It seems to me that many muslims like to use their relgion as a tool to gain some kind of social advantage......and our tolerance in the UK seems to permit this. This is just my own observation.
