First tooth

Maddie has just lost her first tooth. She's thrilled with the gap. I can barely remember what it was like to lose my teeth, I can however remember when I discovered the truth about the tooth fairy. I wonder where the story came from in the first place?

Can't help with the story, however, one word of warning. DO NOT forget to collect discarded tooth during the night and leave compensation for presenting this offering to be recycled for new babies (that was always my story anyway).

Once did this with son, very crestfallen face I can tell you. Had to try and explain was probably busy that night and didn't quite get around to him and would be compensated for his wait:eek:

Next night had to write a letter covered in gold dust apologising for late collection, even though she was on a late shift .. couldn't manage this before sun-up, however here's double money .. I know I'm mad, but what can ya' do when you forget something as important as this.

It took me forever to get my little one to put hers under her pillow.
She kept hold of it for days and at nite she hid it.
Eventually she gave in after a week or so and put it under her pillow in exchange for pennies :)

The fun goes out of losing a tooth when a dentist offers to replace it and wants to charge you enough for a deposit on his Holiday Home!

Teeth

English Teeth, English Teeth!
Shining in the sun
A part of British heritage
Aye, each and every one.
English Teeth, Happy Teeth!
Always having fun
Clamping down on bits of fish
And sausages half done.
English Teeth! HEROES' Teeth!
Hear them click! and clack!
Let's sing a song of praise to them -
Three Cheers for the Brown Grey and Black.

OhI do, it's the front bottom ones first, they start to wiggle and you play back and forth with it on your tongue, but nothing seems to just get it out this way and in the end has to be forcibly pulled from its anchorage, and finally, 'ping' as it breaks away from the last thread... lovely stuff.
Love the new photo .. touche to him I guess :D

Think around 5 years Panther, top two 6/7 years, unless you bash them falling off a bike as son did and had to have them prematurely removed.
Was without front teeth for a year and got quite tired of the Two Front Teeth song. Second lot OK though.
