Good bye.

I'm giving up reading your posts, shouldn't be too difficult if you stick to your word.

I'm giving up chocolate, crisps and biscuits. Oh, no wait, I gave them up at the beginning of the year - so, I think it's time I gave up giving up and started stuffing my face again. I should be 16st by Easter, just in time to polish off my chocolate eggs.

In my opinion life is too short to give up anything that you enjoy....:D I'd give up work though...:)

I'm not giving anything up for lent - unfortunately I have absolutely zero will-power, so when I failed I'd then go into a spiral of guilt & failure - it's much better for my health just to keep up the bad habits! Although I would join Lettie & give up work for Lent - I reckon I'd just about manage that!

One of my good Catholic collegues today has decided to give up drinking wine for lent, and would have to drink Lager instead Uh:confused: Did try and explain that seemingly Jesus himself had an affiliation with wine, so wouldn't wish her to go this far. :)
