shooting seems to fit or maybe we can cut a limb off
physical pain should be favoured however he is a 'celebrity' and them not being like any actual people then they would get a let off from what the original sentence would have been

Well they dont like his sort in the nick so its quite possable he will not get out in one piece with any luck
